Privacy Policy.
How The PR Summit collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. We have written this in plain editorial language because legalese-heavy policies tend to obscure what is actually happening.
Information We Collect
We collect three categories of information: information you give us directly, information we observe through our website, and information we receive from service providers.
- Direct: name, email, phone, company, inquiry type, and message content from contact and partnership forms.
- Observed: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, and limited device metadata via Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- From service providers: bot-challenge results from Cloudflare Turnstile and email-delivery metadata from Resend.
How We Use It
We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, scope an engagement, and deliver work product. We use observed information to understand how the site is performing and to improve the work we do for clients. We do not use any of this for behavioral advertising.
Data Retention
Inquiry messages and engagement records are retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter (typically seven years for tax and legal purposes). Anonymous analytics data is retained per the relevant Cloudflare retention policy. You may request deletion of your inquiry data at any time.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or limit the use of personal information about you. Residents of California (CCPA and CPRA), the European Union (GDPR), and the United Kingdom (UK GDPR) may exercise these rights by contacting us at hello@theprsummit.com. We respond within thirty days.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so the CCPA opt-out for sale or sharing does not apply, but you may still request deletion or correction.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest with our service providers, and access controls limited to personnel who need access for their work. No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and any required regulators in line with applicable law.
Children
The PR Summit is a B2B service. Our website and services are not directed to children under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page for at least thirty days.
