Sharpen your story before you take it to the press.
A four-week intensive that gives founders, partners, and executives the architecture, training, and press kit to pitch journalists themselves. Story angle development, outreach training, finished media kit. Flat fee. Real deliverables.
A scoped engagement, not a vague advisory retainer.
Every deliverable is named. The price is flat because the work is bounded.

Discover, architect, train, hand off.
One week per phase. Specific to consulting. The master process is on the homepage.
Discovery
Week one. We interview you, audit your current story, and map the publications and journalists relevant to your audience. Output: a written diagnosis of where your story stands and where it can go.
Architecture
Week two. We deliver three positioning angles ranked by viability, with the news hook, target outlet, and pitch sketch for each. You pick one to develop further.
Training
Week three. Two live sessions on Zoom: pitch construction, editor psychology, and follow-up etiquette. Recorded for replay. Practice pitches reviewed live.
Press kit
Week four. We deliver the finished press kit, two rounds of revision, and a close-out review. You leave with everything you need to pitch directly.
One scope, one engagement, one outcome.
No retainer hours, no expansion creep. Investment is shared on application.
One enrollment. Four weeks. One founder, executive, or partner per engagement. The scope is flat because the deliverables are bounded.
- Discovery, architecture, training, press kit
- Two recorded live sessions
- Up to two revision rounds on the press kit
Includes everything in the deliverables list. Future placement work, if you want it, is scoped separately.
Before you enroll.
Founders, partners, and executives who want to pitch journalists themselves but need the architecture and training first. Often used before a funding announcement, a book launch, a leadership transition, or a public-facing role change. Not for clients who want us to run their PR; that is a digital, broadcast, or partnership engagement.
Consulting builds your capacity. We do not pitch journalists during the program. We teach you to do it well, hand you the database and the kit, and walk away. A full PR engagement is digital, broadcast, or annual partnership. Some clients run consulting first, then move to placement work once their story is sharp.
A written story architecture, a journalist database with editor names and beats, a finished press kit (bio, headshot brief, three pre-written pitches), recordings of both live training sessions, and templates for follow-ups, embargoes, and press releases.
The two training sessions are live on Zoom and scheduled to your calendar. Both are recorded for replay. Discovery is a single one-hour interview. Architecture and press-kit reviews are async over email.
Yes. Many clients move from consulting into a quarterly campaign or annual partnership once their story is sharp. There is no obligation, and the consulting fee is not credited against future work. The two are scoped separately.
No. Consulting is education, not placement. If you want us to pitch and place, the digital and print or TV and broadcast services are the right scope. We will say so on the discovery call if your goals are placement-focused.
Build the architecture once. Pitch journalists for the next ten years.
Thirty-minute discovery call before you commit. We will tell you whether consulting or full placement work is the right scope for your goal.
